Over the coming days on my blog you will find write up's covering various aspects of transformer design. Focus would be to demystify the 'art' of transformer design as my father chooses to call it.

Transformers cater to a extremely wide range of electronic and electrical needs and effectively classifying the several types of transformers in itself is a major task, and this is what the first article would focus on.

Once we are done with that we would try to focus issues in designing each type of transformer.
